amielleon: Stefan from Fire Emblem 10. (Stefan: Desert)
A translation a day keeps language rust away!

Japanese
English

I think the Stefan and Soren supports are a stellar example of both how Soren is more forceful, and more interestingly, how this affects the characterization of another character. Context is everything and can make a creeper out of a passionate philanthropist.

Note: The way Stefan speaks is impossibly archaic. I do not claim to have all the nuances of his speech here. Stefan's speech is mostly well-translated in the localization, except for his occasional flamboyancy (which I suspect was an attempt at going for the antiquated way he speaks).
EDIT 1/9/13: Not that archaic. Just a little old-fashioned.

% at the end of a line means that the above two lines correspond to those two lines in the Japanese taken together, but not each to their corresponding line. (That is, some elements were transposed to make the translation more natural.)
