Some Bonds DLC Henry Conversations
My bias is obvious, but there's some pretty interesting dark magic stuff in the Ricken one.
The English column is blank for now because they haven't been localized yet. :P
1"Mature" is literally "adult-like" here but I feel that "mature" retains enough of the PORNO XXXX vibes that "adult" gives off that could possibly be important here.
Also I've decided that if I ever do write a modern AU, Henry's a heroin addict.
2 This is a phrase meaning "to be helpful," but it's literally "become [a source of?] power" and I suspect this is a play on the literal meaning as well.
3 "Weaker" relative to Henry. It's a word that means the inferior within a group.

I'm not translating all of Kellam/Henry because most of it is back and forth (Henry: AREN'T YOU SMILING TOO / Kellam: no im just squinty) and hijinks (Henry: LET ME SQUEEZE INTO YOUR ARMOR WITH YOU, IT WILL SOLVE ALL OUR PROBLEMS [and yes it's kind of homoerotic but in the uninteresting way]) but here's the only bit that actually interests me, also known as "the backstory dump after the world's most awkward transition ever (which is included)".

For those who are wondering, Henry/Gaia is about pastries, of which there are apparently few in Plegia. Henry marvels at Gaia's amazing collection, which apparently is as nice as gemstones to look at. In return, he offers Gaia what appears to be the Grimleal equivalent of a communion wafer, and he gags and spits and says he wouldn't be surprised if someone told him it was a chunk out of a Risen.
Frederick/Henry is actually pretty cute but it's late and I'm tired. The highlight is, after questioning why Frederick drives his body to exhaustion -- and finding out that he does it to be useful -- Henry decides that Frederick and he are just alike~ :DDD (Frederick's not entirely happy with that comparison.) which leads to him suggesting that Frederick should take up dark magic sometime, including this disclaimer that dark magic can eat your soul like in FE7.
Libra/Henry is pretty cool and I will stick that in its own post at some point later.
Also I think that's four public entries in a row with Henry's face adorning it up top, yikes.
