You know what I realized? I realized I never did a nice translation of Ike/Soren A. (Actually while doing this I had vivid flashbacks to doing this translation before, but eh this take is probably better anyway.)
WELL THEN.
(Obviously I should do this the night before a math exam I haven't studied enough for.)
PoR Ike/Soren A
1 I think he's referring to the way the last support ended.
2 By kind of person, we mean like... no matter if you're a baker, Asian, sports enthusiast, etc. Japanese uses a different expression for the "kind of person you are" personality-wise.
3 I think it's like a little whimpering sound, except uh, whimper has really pathetic connotations in English.
4 For those of you keeping track at home, this expression, 血をひいてる, is the same as the one used to describe Marth and Anri.
5 The grammar from "The symbol" up to here is unusually conversation-like and loose for pre-FE13 Fire Emblem. This bit is somewhat less literal for the sake of making sense in English.
6 I actually like "What do you mean 'so'?" a great deal -- it's closer to what the Japanese is expressing. (That contrastive particle's hard to translate literally!)
7 Literally "mouth that cannot perform its task".
8 Literally "became special," with the "became" word implying a lack of agency over the matter, ie, it just kinda happened.

Renember the post about Paris and the talk about whether his case was like Marth's, based on the wording of the Japanese? The wording in thus support is the same as Marth's being "inherited from" Anri.
