Sylvia's Lover Converastions in Ch 5
The conversation Mark requested was pretty much intact, but Sylvia's conversations with Alec and Levin in Chapter 5 were translated quite liberally. (Claude's is okay.)
1 "だめだよ" is one of the most common and most annoying phrases to translate, I've found. It literally means "It's no good," but who the hell says that in English?
2 Her line ends with "もん", which I would describe as something like a ~pouting aura~. Thus probably contributing to Alec's response.
3 Apparently an idiom.
1 I'm a little torn on whether this should be "I'll never forget you... okay?" instead, with the "から" interpreted as "I'm saying this because ...".

| Sylvia | Alec, I've been lookin' all over for ya. | アレク、やっと見つけた | Alec, I've found you at last. |
| Alec | Sylvia? You can't be out here! Now get on back to the castle, will ya? You're still here in a place like this? [Don't stick around]1, go back to the castle! |
| Sylvia | But I was gettin' all worried 'bout you. I was worried about you, Alec.2 |
| Alec | C'mon, Sylvia. You gotta start actin' a bit more grown up. You are a full-blown mother now. | いつまでも子供みたいなことを言うなよ おまえも、もう母親なんだから▼ | Quit saying childish things all the time! After all, you're already a mother! |
| Sylvia | Don't talk to me like you're my father or somethin'! It was all your fault anyway. That was your fault, wasn't it? |
| Alec | Hey now! I think the, ah... willingness on both sides led to our little surprise, don't you? |
| Sylvia | Yeah, right. Well, hurry back. Leen and I can't live without ya forever. Okay? You gotta promise! If you're not here, Neither I nor Leen will be able to go on living. So... please. |
| Alec | Yeah, I promise. I'll come for you. I understand. I'll definitely come back... |

| Sylvia | Good! That's all I wanted to hear! 'cause I looooooove you! You are the only one... for me... Da-la-laa... la-la-laa! Because... I also like you a lot, Levin. % Because you'll never forget me... right?1 |

no subject
I knew the Levin/Sylvia one was jacked up, but the disparity never fails to surprise me.
Hey now! I think the, ah... willingness on both sides led to our little surprise, don't you?
I'd wondered about that line, too. It really is an "adaptation." :P
