Ephraim's endings still strike me as glaringly BS, aha. Especially next to all the others. I'm not inclined to read him as ace or, like some do, So Tragically In Love With Poor Dead Lyon that he just doesn't care, but considering the way he's written, it is weird.
Eirika meets Saleh in chapter 5, actually-- he doesn't introduce himself, exactly, but he does give her a hand and they interact. Ephraim also rescues Tana after she comes after him, but that's only on his route. IIRC, Eirika's route has her going freely. She definitely doesn't get captured there. Not sure how "non-optional" these are-- but I guess since you count Lyon's route-exclusive stuff, I think it counts as much.
Worth noting for optional stuff, Lilina's affections for Roy are referenced in Lilina/Marcus, and their relationship is hinted at in Hector/Eliwood supports. Considering how much stuff they pile on there and how little the others get in comparison, the whole pimp lord Roy thing seems really pointless.
(also I think it's funny that Eirika beds more of Magvel than Ephraim, but that's just me.)
